As an artist and educator, I am fascinated by how the human body experiences and expresses emotional narrative. I integrate study of our functional anatomies, dance, and theater principles in order to understand how each of us can refine our abilities to tell the stories we want to tell.
I have been invited to teach barre á terre classes at Peridance Capezio Center in New York City (New York), dance theater workshops at the University of Michigan’s Ann Arbor Campus (Michigan), and choreography workshops with dance companies in Guatemala City (Guatemala) and San Diego (California). I have also facilitated dance and community engagement curricula at Melissa Network in Athens (Greece), George Washington University’s Cyprus Summer Youth Institute (Washington, DC), as a guest lecturer at Dickinson College (Pennsylvania), and in elementary schools across Washington DC with organization Move This World.
