As a choreographer, performer, and educator, I am deeply curious about how the body experiences and expresses emotional narrative, and how each of us engages with our bodies to tell the stories we want to tell.

TEACHING - I have been invited to teach barre á terre classes at Peridance Capezio Center in New York City (New York), dance theater workshops at the University of Michigan’s Ann Arbor Campus (Michigan), and choreography workshops with dance companies in Guatemala City (Guatemala) and San Diego (California). I have also facilitated dance and community engagement curricula at Melissa Network in Athens (Greece), George Washington University’s Cyprus Summer Youth Institute (Washington, DC), as a guest lecturer at Dickinson College (Pennsylvania), and in elementary schools across Washington DC with organization Move This World.


My dance theater work, Two Women, One Map, premièred in 2017 (Philadelphia), with additional performances in New York, NY. I have worked as an associate choreographer on Paul Peers' and Matt Marks' opera, Mata Hari (New York January 2017). Other choreographic works include Atom Skin I (California 2017), Kaffeezeit (New York 2016), Keeping Up Appearances (New York 2015), Cable Table (Washington, DC 2013), and Communidemonation (Washington, DC 2012). In 2014, I received the Maida Withers Dance Construction Company Innovation Award for "daring to walk the tightrope between originality and risk in performance art and the formality of the theater stage" (Washington, DC). Additional performance credits include Qataghani dance at the 21st International Anti-Racist Festival (Athens, Greece 2018), a reconstruction of Maida Withers' Stall (1981) at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and Blind Whino SW Arts Club (Washington, DC 2014), Maida Withers' “Trans Action” (Maryland 2014), and additional works by Susan Rethorst, Tish Carter, Nancy Havlik, Alexandra Pinel, Jessica Smith, and others.
